You know you’re a trader when….
- You can’t remember the last time you had lunch with friends
- You have honestly contemplated how to create a bathroom under your desk
- When the internet has issues, you take out every bad trade you have ever had on the customer service rep
- You have tried to short oil…. Don’t lie.
- You know every CNBC correspondent by name
- You have checked into symbols after seeing them on license plates
- You have traded Baidu.com dozens of times but have never visited their website
- You plan your vacations around market holidays
- While most may be concerned with Israel invading Iran, you’re trying to figure out how to play it
- You could care less about the Microsoft, Yahoo deal
- Dividends. What are those?

Thanks. Just took a starter position in ACOR.
Solars are looking like they will make a renewed run based on daily charts
long SCOR. starter position.
i bought a starter position in SPWR. good mention hh.
misterc,
i am not trading dzz mainly because it has way too many gaps. dont like stocks with a lot of gaps.
FYI - 3 insiders reported today they were sellign SCOR
what do you guys consider a starter position?
1/4
1/3
1/2 of what you eventually want???
thx.
I consider a starter position anywhere from 25% to no more than 33% of what I intend to get.
Indices looking test lows for the 3rd time today. Watching carefully here.
hh,
thanks for your SCOR insider sell information.
stocks don’t go down right away because the insiders are selling. So, i should have some time. I just trade what i see, but it is always good to have trading partners telling me with the news.
my starter is very small always. then, when, i see a momentum, i add big 10 to 20 times the size. It was the case with SDS long yesterday. I went in slowly, and by the time I finished accumulating it was 20 times the size. SDS trade was a lucky trade.
