You know you’re a trader when….
- You can’t remember the last time you had lunch with friends
- You have honestly contemplated how to create a bathroom under your desk
- When the internet has issues, you take out every bad trade you have ever had on the customer service rep
- You have tried to short oil…. Don’t lie.
- You know every CNBC correspondent by name
- You have checked into symbols after seeing them on license plates
- You have traded Baidu.com dozens of times but have never visited their website
- You plan your vacations around market holidays
- While most may be concerned with Israel invading Iran, you’re trying to figure out how to play it
- You could care less about the Microsoft, Yahoo deal
- Dividends. What are those?

AG stocks hot today
Qman,
If you are a trader, do you forget how to spell simple words when you can remember 10,000 different stock symbols?

I love it!...I really did lol!
You leave your iPhone on the bed side table so if you happen to wake up in the middle of the night, you can check futures “real quick.”
hh,
I used to own AGU, but i am out of it. Live and learn always. Trading is a live long process.
You got your lunch handed to you shorting oil… But are still thinking about doing it AGAIN… Don’t lie.
AVAN over 17.35 might be worth taking a small position. If it continues, then adding at 17.90 to 18 area might work as well. I am going to watch this one for sure today.
I am warching AVAN too because of its deal with MMM
may try to play the fertilizers today long and short as i think they will be most volatile off the AGU upgrade
BMO making positive comments on Potash & Fertilizer stocks, raising tgts significantly
POT target goes $200 to $310.....MOS tgt from $135 to $200.....AGU from $90 to $125....and CF from $150 to $225.
LOL… analysts wait for a gap up day to put out research they wrote 2 months ago—so predictable
long AVAN. Starter position in.
will try to play a reversal on the market here
AVAN traders good job.
took some at average 17.51 thank you
i am just getting lucky today with a ton of SDS i have been holding.
what is the news no one is talking about? thsi market is getting thrashed.
my ACOR dry with QMan’s blessings yesterday.
I have had AVAN since $17.00. May take a little bit off the table and move up my stop a bit on the balance. I do like the way it spiked up on huge volume last week, and has continued to hold it’s price near or above the highs. Definitely a sign of strength.
I also own ABMD and DUG.
I want to take a position in FXP, but I didn’t get my trade in this morning and don’t want to chase it right now. Maybe on a pullback??
Hey..what do you guys think of WM?? I am “not” taking a position in it, but is it going out of business or what?? Washington Mutual under $6. OUCH.
sold all my inverse shorts. no more SDS. got lucky.
misterc,
i really like your stocks. i went long AVAN and ACOR on the same day. got out of of avan and was waiting for a set up. then, with my old age, i forgot about avan until you mentioned it here.
keep up with your picks.
WM, i will put that in my alert list and watch it for a set up. it is probably getting closer to a bounce, but i dont want to jump in till i see a set up. I am more interested in adding to AVAN today depends on how it sets up. I might add to AVAN tomorrow instead.
hh,
good job with Ags calls today. AGU 100. wow.

I have been watching your ACOR pick. Great call. It sets up just like AVAN. Nice that you got them both!! I am watching ACOR too, but did not make it in. Are you still in ACOR?
Yeah..I am watching WM for a setup (bounce), but it sure doesn’t seem close right now. Can it really be going out of business? There is a WM on every corner in my town.
Any thoughts on DZZ?
Also, if ANR closes at or above $90.00, it is almost certain to go to $100.00. You know the old rule.....
Market fallign hard again
misterc,
i don’t do any fundamental analysis. i just look at the chart and if it sets up i trade.
was looking at wm calls after your mention. calls might be better way to play wm.
There is no reason for me to sell ACOR. It is trading well.
