Hi All, since posting, we broke through that triple bottom. I covered shorts here. Something feels odd with this action. NOT going long, but taking shorts off.

Wish I had re-entered the Patriot trade yesterday… smileMade a nice move today.

This market doesn’t feel like a market anymore. Duck and cover in a fetal position seems about right.

Q, black Monday today, turn around Tuesday tomorrow?

Pitaking,

I am eyeing the commodity sectors. I took some slugs there today at lows and ended up having a pretty solid day.

For all out there, if you haven’t checked out Tape Talk, now’s the time. Great idea flow there.

Took a shot on some commodities today as well, pot and fcx near the lows of the day...we are just too oversold.

Q, as a new(8 weeks) tape talk member I have to thank you for the straight TA based advice, no fluff or static and awesome trades, EEV, DUG, SMN ect...easily my best trading period ever, keep up the great work.

Q, I cashed in my FCX and POT today booking some nice gains and allowing myself to get a little sleep. Whats your take on the dollar? Is it due for a pullback on the rate cuts?

Thanks

Pitaking, First off, thanks for the compliments on Tape Talk. I am very proud of that service and the recent trades we have had in the bear trend.

I stuck with my commodities because I do think we’ll see a ‘inflation driven’ pop there. The dollar seems to be disconnecting from the trade but that may only be macro shorts unwinding the carry trade still. I can’t imagine it stays propped up with the new flood of money in the system. It just doesn’t make Econ 101 sense.

Q -

Isn’t the value of the dollar relative to other currencies? Aren’t those countries getting flooded with new money also?

Dave
